NEW IDEAS!

I have never made soap straight from scratch. I have bought the bars you melt , scent and mold. I have been looking at recipes and really want to make soap from scratch. I would love opinions if any one has made any. I just saw one for coconut oil soap and I researched castile soap. I think I would like to try both.

I read that the castile soap has many uses. I would love to find a recipe for liquid castile soap. I really don't like bar soap. People by the liquid already made and scented but I want to do my own.

We do hygiene kits as part of our ministry. I would love to be able to make as many of the items we use as possible. Do you think that is crazy? I love making things and I love helping people win, win right?

I am also wanting to earn a little side income. I am not sure if making soap, body wash, shampoo, lip balm and such would make much money. Things are really tight for a lot of people right now and I would have to invest quite a bit to get started just not sure it is worth it.

I also have some crochet patterns I would like to try. I thought about trying to sell items on Amazon. I just don't know I if people would pay what I have to have.

I have many ideas in my head, just not sure if they are feasible for an income. I know making this stuff for ourselves would probably be a good thing.

Blogger I am not..........

I am not very good at this blogging stuff because I don't blog. I get side tracked and forget. I am really going to try to get better at this. I really want to get my ideas out for opinions.

I planted broccoli in in late September and we just got some off of it . It has more coming on I am so excited. I have never had broccoli do so well. I also have some pretty good sized collard green plants.

We desperately need a tiller or small tractor. I so want to have a good size garden this next year.
I am going to start some plants in the next few weeks.

I am going to get back to making bread also. I haven't made bread in a long time. I had 3 bread machines and they all died. I would love to have a Kitchenaid  mixer. We have been working on changing our diet back to more fruits and vegetables. We got away from it and we were eating more fast food and quick cook at home. So....we have started cooking more and trying new recipes.
I will put up some of the recipes when they are good.

I have been reading up on castile soap. I am seriously thinking about making some from scratch.
It has so many different uses. I am excited to try it.

I have also started trying to make to do lists and goal lists. I am not very good at that sort of thing. I will post my progress as I go.

Well I am off here for tonight. I will try harder to post more often.
